Synopsis
Anna (Alena Antalová) and her husband (Igor Bareš) spend every summer in a cottage area a few dozen kilometers outside Prague. They've been together forever, so their marriage has slipped into routine and monotony, as tends to happen. The husband divides his time between drinking with friends at the pub and crafting model ships inside bottles, hardly noticing his wife. Anna brightens up her summers with regular meetings with her friends, colleagues from work, who come to picturesque Central Bohemia for cycling trips around Kamýk Castle. One day, Artur (Jaromír Hanzlík) appears in the village. An elegant and charming gentleman, presumed to be the new owner of the local castle. Though the castle is more of a semi-ruined relic, the new owner has grand plans for it. A spark ignites between Artur and Anna. Anna experiences feelings she hasn't felt in a long time. Artur is gallant and showers her with attention, leading Anna to increasingly escape her life's reality for romantic excursions and adventures.
