Synopsis
Do you ever think that everything has already been told? Think again! This story comes straight from the belly of Toník's yet-to-be-born mother. Through his irresistible commentary, we witness how his parents fell in love and got married, creating Toník's cherished family. His mother, the painter Lucie, and his father, the carpenter Josef, are the central characters of our tale, along with the grandmothers. The first, Coco, with a soul like Chanel, and the second, who plays the violin (humbly named Paganini), as well as the grandfathers, Lojza the confectioner and Antonín the carpenter. Although Antonín has passed away, the house is still full of his presence. Such is life, not only in fairy tales! The stories of Toník's family are brimming with imagination and gentle, original humor. Sometimes, we even meet Dudka, the Rabbit, the Squirrel, and the Owl, neighbors from the nearby forest. But most importantly, in this big family, everyone loves each other and enjoys a lot of fun together.
