Synopsis
This twelve-episode crime series set in Ostrava and its surroundings introduces detective Magda Malá and her new partner, Martin Černý. Together, they tackle criminal cases from unusual locations while the series also delves into their personal lives. Magda must balance the demanding nature of police work with the responsibilities of caring for her family and young daughter. Martin, having moved to Ostrava to stay close to his teenage son who now lives with Martin’s ex-wife, struggles to adjust. Initially, there is some rivalry between Magda and Martin, but it soon evolves into mutual respect and friendship. However, neither of them is aware that a recently released convict, Hrbek, has been watching Magda closely, plotting his revenge for his previous capture.
