Synopsis
Radio correspondent Karel Beran briefly returns to Prague after receiving an anonymous message, leaving his post in the Middle East behind. But just as he departs, a revolution erupts in the very country he abandoned. Determined to uphold his duty as a reporter, he begins to fabricate dramatic dispatches from his Prague apartment, using household objects to mimic the sounds of war. Caught between personal troubles and professional obligations, Beran soon traps himself in his own web of lies. When Czech Radio decides to send a support team to join him in the conflict zone, he faces an impossible choice: admit to his deception or go to unthinkable lengths to preserve it.
