Description
The radio edition of Hajaja, a bedtime story broadcast for children on Czech Radio Prague, is similar to the TV evening story. It has enjoyed great popularity for five decades. Hajaja is associated with the names of a long line of actors and among the characters it has introduced to children are Spejbl and Hurvínek. Miloš Kirschner, the long-time director of the S+H Theatre and interpreter of the two wooden heroes, and Helena Štáchová, today's director of the theatre, whose mouths are spoken by Mánička and Mrs. Kateřina, recorded a number of sketches for the radio Hajajaja in 1984 at the then still Czechoslovak Radio, which were broadcast the same year and later often reprised. On this title we offer you some of them, and you will agree that even after almost thirty years they have not aged!
