They brilliantly portray a variety of student and teacher archetypes, from the mischievous student played by Ladislav Pešek, to the sycophantic snitch portrayed by František Filipovský, and the school's heartthrob depicted by Antonín Novotný. The dignified professors are skillfully acted by František Kreuzmann, František Smolík, Ladislav Boháč, Jaroslav Marvan, and Václav Trégl, with Theodor Pištěk as the headmaster.
