Synopsis
A sentimental return to the 1990s - when youth had a taste for bubble gum, the respect of colleagues was won with a collection of Legos and the imagination of Poles was fired by cult hits on VHS. These unforgettable realities are the backdrop for a moving film story, by Konrad Aksinowicz ('In the Spiral'), about family, growing up and the dark sides of each of us.
Fourteen-year-old Tomek, lives with his mother (Weronika Książkiewicz) in one of Wrocław's housing estates. The boy grows up without his father, who has emigrated to the USA. However, one day Alek (Maciej Stuhr) unexpectedly arrives at the door of the family flat. He brings with him a colour TV, Legos, Nike shoes and the video recorder of his dreams. The happiness does not last long, however. All because of Alek's obsession, which he cannot control.
