Prague Cans / Vejska

Petr Kocourek (Tomáš Vorel Jr.) applies to the Department of Graphics at UMPRUM, where only a few are accepted. He was rejected once before, and Professor Slanina (Jakub Kohák) is uncompromising. The beautiful Julie (Eva Josefíková) also applies to the school, and Kocourek falls head over heels in love with her. Michal Kolman (Jiří Mádl) studies at VŠE, but instead of attending lectures and seminars, he's only interested in his classmates and fast cars. He cheats on exams and assignments through fraud, bribery, or his influential father's (Jan Kraus) connections. Kocourek's mother (Zuzana Bydžovská) has long given up hope that her son will study something respectable, while Mrs. Kolmanová (Ivana Chýlková) constantly spoils her son. Both boys have been involved in illegal graffiti since high school. They experience wild adventures on the rooftops, train stations, and underpasses of Prague. During one nighttime chase, Kocourek is caught... The music and rap by DJ Mika Trafika and Vladimira 518, minimalist acting, dynamic camera work, and mysterious nighttime locations all give Prague an authentic atmosphere.
