Synopsis
Ania, a 27-year-old music teacher at an elementary school, arranges a date on the online dating site Planet Single. Her date, Ant-Man, doesn't show up. However, in the bar, she catches the eye of successful TV host Tomek. Spoiled by female attention, the arrogant Tomek thinks he can easily charm Ania for a one-night stand, but he is mistaken. In his next TV show, Tomek introduces a puppet named Hanička, who closely resembles Ania, mocking her appearance, personality, and behavior. The show is a hit and moves to prime time. Tomek seeks out Ania again, needing her for further inspiration—he wants her to go on online dates and share her experiences with him. Ania agrees when Tomek promises to buy a new piano for her school. Meanwhile, Ant-Man, whose real name is Antoni, apologizes and asks for a second chance, explaining he missed their previous date because of his daughter. He is a doctor and widower, and Ania gets along well with him. Tomek, slowly falling in love with Ania, becomes jealous and suspects Antoni of deceiving her. He spies on Antoni and mistakenly concludes that he is married. Tomek ruins another date by barging in with a film crew and camera, only to discover that the woman he thought was Antoni's wife is actually his sister. Antoni hadn't lied, and it's a huge embarrassment. Ania tells Tomek she never wants to see him again. She confides in her friend, hairdresser Ola, who has her own dating problems. The daughter from her partner Bogdan's first marriage hates her, so Ola creates fake profiles for herself and Bogdan on the dating site, convincing them they are chatting with each other when, in reality, she is writing everything.
