Synopsis
In the film "One Hand Can't Clap," Standa, a perennially unlucky character played by Jiří Macháček, believes his fortune is about to change after being released from prison. He anticipates a significant payoff from his former boss, Zdeněk, played by Ivan Trojan. However, Standa's life takes an unexpected turn when he crosses paths with Ondřej, portrayed by Marek Taclík, an even more ill-fated and eccentric individual than himself. This chance encounter leads to a series of comedic mishaps and misfortunes, affecting not only their lives but also the seemingly perfect life of Zdeněk, who owns a successful restaurant and has a stable family. The film humorously explores themes of luck, destiny, and the unpredictable nature of life through the interwoven destinies of its main characters.
