Synopsis
German teacher Maruna (Tatiana Vilhelmová), currently running a pub, seems destined never to marry. In the small village, suitable men are scarce: the indecisive mayor (Ivan Trojan) spends much time at the local pub waiting for his deer, childishly naive Olin (Jaroslav Plesl) is considered the harmless village fool, and plumber Kódl (Lukáš Latiňák) eagerly pursues every skirt. Maruna's peace is disturbed further by her domineering mother (Johanna Tesařová), whom she cares for along with her sister Jaruna (Lenka Krobotová). When Jaruna takes the first chance to leave for Munich with the older German Hans, Maruna is left in the "Hole" with her mother and suitors alone. However, an unexpected event occurs one day in Hanušovice...
