Synopsis
60 miniatures – fillers from many journeys across the Siam Peninsula. Filmed in Burma, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam. The key to the direction and editing is not strict objectivity or rational explanation, but purely the aesthetics of the image edited to pre-determined music. The miniatures usually contain just one or two episodes, clearly separated by a change in music. Geographic orientation is provided through subtitles. Siamese realities often stand out better in detail than in a comprehensive, narrated documentary.
