Synopsis
The main character of the film is Marek (A. Mihál), an eighteen-year-old living with his alcoholic father (M. Kuruc) in a small town on the Moravian-Slovak border. Marek's only true emotional bond is with his dog. When his father decides to sell part of their land, Marek is forced to visit his mother (I. Bendová) in a nearby village to sign the contract. His life is turned upside down when he discovers he has a stepbrother (L. Filo) who is half Romani. Set against the backdrop of a single day, this tightly woven social drama warns against the increasingly aggressive rise of racism and prejudices, which often have tragic consequences.
