Description
Maly Bobes ve meste DVD
Synopsis
The film Malý Bobeš ve městě is a sequel to the original Malý Bobeš, catching up with the young hero as he moves to the city with his parents. Set in the challenging social climate of the 1930s, the film explores the harsh realities of urban life, including the exploitation of workers. The story provides a stark demonstration of how ideological themes were insensitively incorporated into children's films during this era. After Bobeš's father is unable to find work due to an injury, the family is forced to sell their cottage and relocate to a small house on the city's outskirts. The new environment is a stark contrast to their previous home, and Bobeš struggles to adapt to his new surroundings. The film offers a unique perspective on the impact of socio-economic conditions on childhood experiences.
