Description

Madla a Tap DVD
Synopsis
This thirteen-episode series revolves around the journey of a Bavarian Mountain Hound puppy and a lynx cub, another installment in Václav Chaloupek's series of animal stories aimed at changing human attitudes towards certain wildlife. Traditionally, animals like bears, wolves, lynxes, and wild cats have been exterminated in Czech lands, and their lives have been subject to misconceptions and falsehoods. This has led to a hostile attitude towards predators, resulting in cruelty and indifference to their suffering. Bears still live in cramped conditions in zoos and circuses, while wolves, lynxes, otters, foxes, martens, kites, hawks, and eagles often fall victim to traps. These animal-focused stories are intended to influence both young and adult viewers, shaping their relationship with nature. Following tales about foxes, badgers, martens, bears, wolf cubs, and otters, this series focuses on the largest feline predator in the region – the lynx.
