Synopsis
A young window cleaner becomes an informant for a gang of apartment thieves. Can he start a new, more honest life? Nineteen-year-old Pavel Kříž spends all his free time in Prague's passages, bistros, and discos with a gang led by a thief named Roby. Although Pavel has a high school diploma, he works as a window cleaner, and a significant part of his income comes from frauds, smuggling, and thefts he tips off to Roby's gang. He is not thrilled when his cleaning supervisor assigns a young temporary worker, Jana Hálková, to work with him. Despite her disdain for Pavel's lifestyle, a fragile emotional bond forms between them. However, this bond struggles to survive in the environment Pavel inhabits. Pavel finds himself in increasingly difficult situations - part of Roby's gang is caught by the police, and he is unable to repay a debt. The situation escalates when the gang kidnaps Jana...
