Description
Build a model of the Renault R-35, a popular French light infantry tank (Char légere model 1935R) from the beginning of World War 2. The name Renault R-35, although very popular, was not an official name. The R-35 was the successor to the old Renault FT-17 tank, which commemorated World War 1. The advantage of the tank for its time was a modern design and good armour. The disadvantage was too low engine power and a tower for one person. which forced the vehicle commander to perform tasks assigned to several crew members in other tanks. Poland bought 100 Renault R-35 tanks from France. in July 1939, the first batch of about 50 pieces was delivered, which were used in September 1939. Faced with the defeat, some machines were sent to Romania and Hungary. The transport of another 50 pieces did not manage to arrive in Poland. The package contains 540 bricks of the kit and 1 soldier figure.
