Description
Synopsis
Václav Vorlíček's situational comedy, set in the reality of 1985, is infused with a key fairy-tale element. Based on a concept by Václav Nývlt, it explores a common, often unattainable wish of many people: to be someone else in various situations. The film's story revolves around two protagonists - the decent, albeit dull engineer Záruba, and the marriage scam artist Majer. Due to mysterious lunar forces, their wish is granted, and they exchange appearances, creating a stark contrast with their unchanged personalities and voices. This inexplicable swap naturally leads to numerous comical entanglements and situations. The story concludes with a typical fairy-tale ending: the villain is justly punished, and the honest man is rightfully rewarded. This light-hearted comedy with a moral undertone relies heavily on the acting skills of two distinct comedians, Petr Nárožný and Oldřich Kaiser.
