Synopsis
In a world where our innermost thoughts remain veiled, what if you could hear what others truly think of you? Guard No. 47 starts on a hopeful note, as railway guard Douša, with his wife by his side, saves the heartbroken village merchant Ferda Zuska from a tragic suicide attempt in front of a train. But the narrative takes a twist. As Ferda recovers, he begins making advances towards Mrs. Douša. An accident during the rescue renders Douša temporarily deaf. As his hearing gradually returns, he chooses to keep it a secret, hoping to unravel the unspoken words and feelings of those around him. But sometimes, the truth is a burden too heavy to bear.
