Synopsis
The film focuses on Jarmila Kšírová, a renowned operetta singer, who conceals her marriage and family from the public eye. The main character, Soňa Jansová, is a celebrated operetta star rumored to be single and disinterested in men. In truth, she is happily married to a lawyer, Karel Svoboda, and has a four-year-old daughter. Her husband, to maintain the façade, acts as her legal representative and visits her secretly. The film features unique elements, including furniture from UP factories and Prague's Lucerna, and was first presented at Zlín's Film Harvest in 1940.
