The story of a romantic holiday meeting between a Polish student and the daughter of a foreign diplomat, which ends in their parting. He introduces her into his world, she stays in it only for a while before leaving.
A love story about two young people who, due to their immaturity, are not
unable to save their nascent feelings. A subtle and sentimental warmth-filled depiction of the existential youth of the 1950s.
