Synopsis
The story follows young Julius, who returns to his ancestral castle on the banks of the Otava River after completing his studies. With his parents deceased, the only inhabitants of the castle are his strict aunt and her teenage daughter, Rosa. However, Julius is drawn to his childhood friend Peter and the young daughter of a ferryman, Klara. Into this dual world enters Simon, an injured student whose presence brings an exotic and transformative influence. He introduces love and death into the lives of the young people living on both banks of the beautiful river, profoundly impacting their destinies.
