Synopsis
In the situational comedy "V oddechové" directed by Vladimír Slavínský in 1940, you can witness the series of events that unfold when a not-so-wealthy girl experiences a two-week vacation in a grand luxury hotel. Luck smiled upon her, and she won the main prize in a newspaper contest. As it later turns out, it's a prize for a lifetime. In the role of the charming heroine, we see the star of our pre-war cinema, Adina Mandlová. Her partners in this colorful display of important hotel guests and staff are other famous actors of that time, such as Raoul Schránil, Rudolf Deyl Sr., Bohuš Záhorský, Miloš Nedbal, and Jaroslav Marvan.
