Delicious and fragrant gingerbread. Just add water and oil, and it's ready! The baked gingerbread is beautifully scented with an original blend of cinnamon, anise, cloves, coriander, and fennel. Dr. Oetker's gingerbread is a delightful and visually appealing treat with quick and easy preparation. By combining a unique recipe with quality ingredients, you can easily and quickly prepare traditional gingerbread at home. This modern method of home baking guarantees success. We recommend decorating with Dr. Oetker's dark or light icing and sprinkling with almonds or coconut. It is also excellent spread with homemade jam.

540 g gingerbread mix
You Will Need:
400 ml water or milk
120 ml oil (12 tablespoons)
Empty the contents of the gingerbread mix sachet into a bowl and add the measured water or milk and oil. Mix thoroughly with a wooden spoon or an electric hand mixer until smooth. Pour the batter into a greased and floured 30 x 40 cm baking tray and bake. Baking time and temperature are specified in the table. To ensure the gingerbread is properly baked, insert a skewer into the center. If it comes out clean, the gingerbread is done.
Once cooled, you can spread jam on the baked gingerbread, drizzle with Dr. Oetker dark icing, and decorate as desired with nuts, coconut, or Dr. Oetker decorations. Preheat all types of ovens well before baking!

Electric Oven: 165°C for 30-40 minutes
Convection Oven: 155°C for 30-40 minutes
Gas Oven: Medium setting for 30-40 minutes
