Seasonal baking mix for classic Czech perníčky (gingerbread cookies). The box includes a dry dough mix plus a separate white icing mix for decorating—just add butter (or margarine), honey, and eggs. One pack makes around 45 cookies (about two baking trays). Inside the packaging you’ll also find handy templates for cutting out St. Nicholas, a devil, and festive ornaments—perfect for Christmas baking and gifting.

Preparation Instructions:
Empty the dough mix onto a board and add butter or margarine, honey, and eggs. Knead by hand until smooth; if the dough is sticky, work in 1–2 tablespoons of plain flour.
Cut out the templates from the inside of the box with sharp scissors. Roll the dough on a floured surface to about 5 mm and cut shapes using the templates (St. Nicholas, a devil, ornaments) or cookie cutters.
Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Just before baking, brush the cookies with beaten egg white. Follow the baking time and temperature shown in the table on the package.
Let the cookies cool. Whisk the icing mix with water until stiff; if it’s too thin, add 1–2 tablespoons of sifted powdered sugar. Fill a piping/decorating bag and decorate the cookies. Let the icing dry.
To soften cookies after baking, store in a tin with half an apple, seal tightly, and keep in a cool place; replace the apple daily. Cookies soften in 2–3 days.

Ingredients: Wheat flour, sugar, reduced-fat cocoa powder, spices (cinnamon, anise, clove, coriander, and fennel in varying proportions), raising agent (sodium bicarbonate), modified potato starch, caramel powder. May contain traces of milk and lupin flour.
