Synopsis
After the Battle of Lipany, the remnants of the Hussite forces gathered under the leadership of Jan Roháč of Dubá at the Sion Castle. This adaptation of Jirásek's dramatic source material was the first Czech feature-length color film. For its re-release in the 1960s, the film was visibly and ruthlessly shortened, resulting in considerable confusion and lack of clarity.
