Synopsis
Duše jako kaviár (Soul as Caviar) follows the tangled lives of a modern family, beginning at their father’s funeral — attended by his many mistresses — where sisters Jana (Tatiana Vilhelmová) and Anna (Karolína Kaiserová) discover they have a half-brother, Vladimír (Jan Budař). Anna dreams of love and perfection, while Jana struggles to save her collapsing marriage to the unfaithful Jan (Ondřej Vetchý). Their neurotic brother Vladimír searches for identity, and kind-hearted František (Saša Rašilov) faces his own troubles as his wife enjoys life with another man. Through humor and irony, the film paints a mosaic of human weakness and longing — a story about making the same mistakes a hundred times before finally learning from them.
