Synopsis
Terrence Malick’s drama follows two men who love the same woman. Richard Gere plays a refugee from Chicago’s slums who competes for Abby’s love with a shy, wealthy Texan, played by Sam Shepard. Brooke Adams portrays Abby in a film known for its striking cinematography and compelling sound, with Linda Manz also appearing.
