About the game
The story follows Zack Fair in this prequel to Final Fantasy VII. The remaster updates the game's 3D character models, backgrounds and overall visual presentation. Its improved combat system provides more fluid gameplay, while the soundtrack has been rerecorded by original composer Takeharu Ishimoto. The game combines Zack's story with real-time battles in a modernized version of the original adventure.
