Description
Clergy / Kler, booklet DVD
Synopsis
"Kler" - the most famous Polish film of recent years!
The highest-grossing Polish production since 1989, watched in cinemas by more than 5 million viewers. A work that has caused huge controversy, stirred up huge debates and shocked public opinion in Poland and around the world. A picture that has been hailed as the most important film of the thirty years.
"Kler" - the latest film by Wojtek Smarzowski, creator of award-winning works: "Wołyń", "Pod Mocnym Aniołem", "Drogówka", "Róża", "Dom zły" and "Wesele" - is a picture of the Catholic Church as an institution viewed from the side of the sacristy, shedding light on uncomfortable, difficult, often silent, but also moving topics. All this is portrayed through the fate of three clergymen, whose ups and downs prove that priests, like the community of believers, are not particularly alien to anything human.
