Synopsis
A single night in a bar high up in the Tatra mountains brings together a group of guests who would never otherwise share a table: office workers from the state administration, a crew of installers and their site foreman. As the evening wears on and the drinks flow, the easy mood gives way and each of them reveals the hopes they cling to and the disappointments they carry. Peter Solan's black-and-white drama is an observant portrait of 1960s society, now presented in a new digital restoration by the Slovak Film Institute.
