Synopsis
The Devil Doesn't Sleep (Hungarian: Az ördög nem alszik) is a 1941 Hungarian comedy film directed by Viktor Bánky, featuring Klári Tolnay, Gyula Csortos, and Miklós Hajmássy. Set in a country estate, the story follows a count who intends to leave his property to his two remaining relatives. He hopes that they will marry and prevent the division of the estate upon his death. However, tensions arise as the two relatives fail to get along from their first encounter.
