Synopsis
This narrative has already been published in book form and theatrically, but now we are presenting this interesting topic in a newly processed film form, accompanied by a number of unique film documentaries from the collections of leading Czech and Moravian museums. In clear historical chapters, the customs of the Christmas season - Advent, St. Nicholas, St. Barbara, St. Lucy and Christmas with its traditional attributes (tree, nativity scene, Christmas carp, divination...) and carols are presented. The original songs are accompanied by Petr Traxler. Otakar Brousek st. and Stanislav Lehký interpret unique period documents.
