Synopsis
Hoof Here, Hoof There is a provocative drama that uses the fear of AIDS as a catalyst to examine shallow relationships and the emptiness behind carefree living. Three charismatic thirty-somethings drift through life chasing pleasure instead of commitment, until the threat of illness forces them to confront their own vulnerability. The film explores apathy, moral confusion, and self-centered hedonism, revealing how denial and reckless behavior can mask deep alienation. Blending raw energy with stylized humor, it features members of the theatre group Sklep, whose distinctive performances add irony and intensity. With bold visual composition, restless editing, and striking color contrasts, the film creates an atmosphere of urgency that reflects the emotional chaos of its characters.
