Gajdošova kontrabasová škola - 1. díl – 1 poloha – 3. poloha – Gajdoš Miloslav (2025)

Miloslav Gajdoš has dedicated his entire life to pedagogy and has long worked with all generations of students. Thanks to his wide range of activities and the experiences he has gained over his fifty years of work, he has adapted the methodology of playing to different age groups. In 2025, the first edition of a publication titled Gajdoš's Double Bass School will be released, inspired by the Selection of Double Bass Exercises and Etudes in Basic Positions from 2011. The original booklet contained a number of non-original exercises and etudes, which are exclusively replaced by original compositions in this new publication. The new Gajdoš's Double Bass School has been completely developed by Eva Šašinková, a graduate of Miloslav Gajdoš, currently a teacher at HAMU in Prague and the Conservatory in Plzeň, and the author of several professional publications. The entire concept of the school has been unified across all chapters and supplemented with additional exercises, visual documentation, and illustrative photographs of methodological procedures. In this regard, the new Gajdoš's Double Bass School is a unique material, tailored in its processing and style of musical notation for players of all age categories.
