Description
This suite, presented with a full score and instrumental parts, consists of nine sections and is written for string orchestra and drum kit. Its unusual instrumentation places it among less common compositions. For dynamic balance, felt mallets are prescribed for the drum-kit player to produce a softer, quieter sound, and switching off the snare wires is also recommended. The string orchestra should have at least five, four, three, two and one players in the respective sections. Increasing the number of players naturally improves the balance between the strings and drum kit.
