Description
This suite for five players is supplied with a full score and parts. It also allows for variation and expansion with other instruments listed in the contents, including replacing clarinet with flute, alto saxophone with clarinet, trombone with tenor saxophone, and piano with guitar and bass; the drum-kit part remains unchanged. The suite is suitable for students at music schools. Its three movements differ mainly in character and style: the first uses a swing rhythm, the second is considerably slower in an eighth-note rhythm with the main melody in the third part, and the third has a tempo like the first but uses an even eighth-note rhythm. The drums have room for a solo in the first and third movements. The solos are written out, but may be enriched or changed. The accompanying text is in Czech.
