Description
This Czech-language publication presents four additional compositions, numbers 5–8 in the series, for four percussion players. The quartets are intended for teaching chamber music and for presentation at school or other performances. They do not aim to experiment with new sounds, introduce exotic instruments or impress with difficult-to-read notation; instead, they use a standard percussion instrumentarium to create clear and accessible music that highlights its rhythmic and melodic independence. Each quartet lasts 5–7 minutes and uses the xylophone, glockenspiel, vibraphone, drum kit, bongos and wood blocks.
