Description
This drum-kit method develops the fundamentals of playing and gradually builds towards more complex rhythms in beat, rock, jazz, dance and other styles. Break examples provide inspiration for improvising shorter or longer solos and for practising a feel for the basic four-bar pattern. The first two chapters end with several solo studies that develop coordination and rhythmic coherence, while the third chapter presents examples of dance and other commonly used rhythms. After thorough study, the method should prepare players to begin performing in bands across various genres and styles. Further extensions of playing techniques and more advanced instruction are covered in subsequent volumes. The contents are in Czech.
