Description
In Kyiv in 1968, as the period of thaw comes to an end, Yura, a physics student, successful Komsomol leader and promising novice scientist, becomes trapped by difficult circumstances and the hell of his own doubts. He must make a moral choice while feeling unprepared for it. His life is a kind of buffer between two worlds: on one side is the world of the golden youth, the children of secretaries of the CPU Central Committee, the LKSMU Central Committee and the KGB; on the other is the world of his mother Klavka, one of the nameless and unheroic representatives of the Ukrainian intelligentsia who carry on their shoulders the powerful rear guard of the sixties.
