These two works, considered the best comedies of Shakespeare, belong to the so-called romantic or love comedies, with a plot full of entanglements and misunderstandings that culminates in a happy ending. TWELFTH NIGHT marks the farewell to romantic comedies, with elements that already outline character comedy, in a marvel of synthesis that combines the most raw realism with the faintest melancholy.
