Description
A playful romantic novel in Czech about a good deed punished with eternity. In 27 BC, the young bath attendant Lucilla helps a petty thief named Marcus escape from prison. In return for saving his life, he promises to protect her through a blood oath, but fails to mention its side effect: immortality. Two thousand years later, Lucilla wants only one thing: for Marcus to finally break the accursed oath. There is just one problem—the talkative scoundrel is nowhere to be found. The story follows her playful and romantic search for freedom, and perhaps for something more.
