Originally, this was supposed to be a book about unconventional bike trips. However, that would require it to be written by someone who not only can't ride a bike but also can't stop one. When you add the fact that we usually set off on our bikes to places where riding is impossible, it was definitely a recipe for crazy adventures. So, my friends and I pedaled across a frozen lake above the Arctic Circle, descended the slopes of the Faroe Islands, rode along the Elbe from its source to the sea, or even stopped by for coffee with the Pope. In short, this is not just a book for cyclists, but for everyone who enjoys the world outside their door. And also for all fans of low-quality post-pubescent awkward humor, fleeting interjections, improperly used participles, futile exclamations, and colorful photos. You won't be bored.
