Description
Experiences are worth traveling for – this idea was developed over a hundred years ago by the French brothers André and Édouard Michelin, whose red guide is known and respected worldwide. Building on the idea of independent and objective evaluation, the Czech project by TopLife Czech was established. Since 2014, the publisher has been publishing the results of evaluations in the annual Best Restaurants guide, awarding around a hundred domestic experiential restaurants each year. Inspectors anonymously taste dishes and test the quality of service in the best establishments in the Czech Republic. The result of repeated visits and evaluations is a grade awarded by the publisher – the Golden Lion. Entry into the selective club is one GOLDEN LION, and for chefs and restaurant owners, the dream highest grade is three GOLDEN LIONS. The organizing publisher finances the entire project exclusively through the sale of the book guide and advertising. The most significant financial supporters are Bidfood and the car brand and manufacturer CUPRA. The printed yearbook is available at all good bookstores.
