The book describes three brutal crimes from South Bohemia, including revealing new facts in the case of the murder of the prostitute Gabriela Supeková. It is the first true crime from South Bohemia, the first South Bohemian true crime. The book details the work of the South Bohemian police through specific cases and simulates a police file. However, readers must prepare for authentic photographs as well. The author is Václav Hýsek, a former head of the South Bohemian murder squad, and South Bohemian publicist Pavel Pechoušek. The book contains authentic witness testimonies, quotes from court files, photographs from the crime scene, and perhaps most importantly, the atmosphere captured by the most qualified person, namely the police officer who led the investigation. Major Hýsek describes from his perspective three major cases in which he was significantly involved in the past – alongside the aforementioned murder of the prostitute Gabriela Supeková, it includes the case associated with double murderer Jaroslav Steinbauer and the triple murder committed by Jaroslav Hejna.
