The publication Doctor, Murder, We're Off! Doctor Police, Doctor Emergency is the second, revised edition of the original book Doctor, Murder, We're Off! (from the diary of a police doctor) from 1995. It brings personal experiences of police doctor Lt. Col. MUDr. Karel Vomáčka from examining a large number of murder victims, suicides, and suspicious deaths that occurred in the territory of the Capital City of Prague and the Central Bohemian Region between 1978 and 1994. Co-author Viktorín Šulc has supplemented the book with new information on some cases, as well as a foreword and epilogue containing a tribute to Lt. Col. MUDr. Karel Vomáčka, who, due to his profession, had to be among the first on the scene of human tragedies. The unique diary format captures individual cases that Karel Vomáčka worked on as a member of the emergency team, known as the murder party, dealing with cases of murder, suicide, and suspicious deaths, which is currently the subject of the activities of the first department.
