Description
Studying the history of one's own nation and state is not only a certain self-identifying moment for every country, but it also serves as a guide for understanding its fate and setting the right future goals. However, the interpretation of history is not just an objective assessment of past events; it can also be a tool for dominating others, especially when formulated from abroad. Therefore, the authors of the anthology attempted to provide the reader with a certain mosaic of perspectives on key moments in Czech history, deliberately from the beginning of our statehood in the 10th century to the threshold of the 20th century. Our most modern history is not yet part of historical facts, and therefore we dedicate this anthology to global politics and international relations.
