For years, the Přerov municipal police blog has entertained almost 50,000 followers with creative accounts of minor offences and sometimes more dramatic incidents, recalling the tradition of humorous pre-war court stories. The distinctive humour is the work of deputy director Miroslav Komínek, whose writing has received the Magnesia Litera literary award and the Golden Pen award from the Copywriters Club. This book contains the 100 best stories from 2021 and 2022, which first found success with online readers. It is illustrated throughout by the author’s brother, Tomáš Saavedra Komínek, whose distinctive drawings and animations add another dimension. Interactive content also gives readers access to unique unpublished stories, a comic and audio stories, with more material gradually being added to Prerovnano.cz. Five percent of the publisher’s income from each book is donated to AutTalk.cz, a foundation supporting families with children on the autism spectrum. The contents are in Czech.
