Mezitah 1 - Jádro pudla – Zatloukal Filip (2023)

After humanity found a way to travel between the stars, everything changed. With the discovery of practically unlimited natural resources, countless amazing, life-filled planets, and even a few intelligent animal species, people scattered to all corners of the universe. The current space civilization is rich and powerful, but completely decentralized. And history goes on. Information travels faster and in greater volumes, people move for work, and the market economy has taken overproduction to a whole new level. In a society unbounded by the possibilities of a single planet, it no longer excites anyone. Anka, Eliška, and their dog Malér keep their distance from people as much as possible. They travel through the wrecks of abandoned ships, collecting what others have left in the darkness of space. When they find something useful, they install it on their ship or sell it somewhere at a market. They make a good living this way, and as long as they are together, they lack for nothing. But what will they do when one day bandits take their ship and leave them to their fate on the abandoned wreck of a military cruiser drifting through the emptiness of space?
