Description
Seven fairy tales (plus one bonus tale intended for "adults and very intelligent children") take place in different times and various corners of our capital city. The author, also known as a humorist and humorologist, does not shy away from witty plot twists and wordplay, as evidenced by the titles of the fairy tales: When Prague Did Not Yet Have Its Name, The Prague King and the Beautiful Redhead, The Vain Ruler from Prague Castle and the Time Machine from Malá Strana, The Magical Dwarf Alžbět and Two Prague Boys, and others. The book is richly illustrated with drawings by artist Václav Rytina (1945-2004) and his granddaughter Cecilie (*2004). The book was published with the support of the City of Prague.
